JK Group would like to welcome Ignacio Ortega as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer and the JK Group Brisbane Office Manager. Ignacio is an accomplished professional with over 27 years’ experience in the fields of foundation design, earthworks, unsaturated soils, tailings and water dams, slope stability and general geotechnical monitoring. His project experience includes mining (tailings), airports, tunnels, dams, ports, highways, railways, industrial plants, bridges, buildings and other urban developments in Europe and Australia.
