Project challenges
A 2km section of the highway was upgraded from a two-lane road to a four-lane dual carriageway. The road had to be widened while still in operation.
Our solutions
JK Group constructed 16m-high reinforced earth walls on slopes of up to 30 degrees. We made 15m-deep excavations into the rock on the edge of the pavement and bored below the rail corridor for a stormwater pipe installation. All this was done while the road was still in operation.
